(written on July 11)
My little man turned four yesterday. I can hardly believe it. It really seems like yesterday that I met him for the first time and introduced myself as his mommy. I remember every detail of that day like it just happened. He was so tiny and so fragile....
Things have changed since then. He's over three feet tall and is rowdy and rambunctious as a boy should be. He is smart and is constantly amazing me with the things he knows and remembers. To say he is a handsome little thing would be an understatement. His favorite color is blue and he wants to be a "fire engine man" when he grows up. He loves brown sugar cinnamon pop tarts and hates to drink milk. If he could stay outside all day, he would. But then again I think he would stay in the tub all day too, if I would let him. He refuses to wear normal shoes...only Crocs for this boy. His best friend is his daddy and his nemesis (at least today) is his sister. He loves to make up words and make up songs. My personal favorite goes like this "trucks are very useful, but they can't fly like airplanes". Are you laughing? Good. Because this boy makes me laugh more than any other person on Earth. The ladies will love him...handsome, smart and funny. My word, I'm in trouble!
My sweet Wyatt, I love you more than you will ever know and I pray that you stay this sweet, funny, kind boy that you are. Thank you for being such a blessing to my life--even when you're in time out. :)
