Happy 4th!

So this year for the 4th, we had a very traditional holiday.  We grilled out, relaxed and finally took the kids to see some fireworks.  This was their first experience so we were a little concerned that they might be frightened...we were wrong.  They loved it!  They put on a fireworks display at the base and it was great!  We got to sit on the grass surrounded by all of our friends and celebrate our country.  It's so moving to see hundreds of men and women of the Navy stand at attention while our National Anthem is being played and fireworks are bursting above....I could get teary all over again.  We will totally be doing this again next year!
