He did it!
He did it! Josh finally finished his eMBA! It took him two years and massive amounts of work--often late at night and on weekends. I am so proud of his initiative and also his perseverance. When I say that this man has worked so hard...I am totally underselling his efforts.
We drove over to Monterey, to the Naval Postgraduate School, this past Thursday afternoon for the graduation ceremony that was on Friday morning. We drove home on Friday afternoon, so it was a short trip over. The brief time we were away was fun but I hope we get to really celebrate this accomplishment soon. He certainly deserves it!
(The kids were with us but by this point everyone was melting down. So we stuck them in the car and asked a passing police officer to take our picture.)

Lazy-ish Saturday
This morning, after our late night at Monster Jam, we got up and going a little later...then we headed to breakfast at Rea's favorite spot--Black Bear Diner. Then we headed home to play, relax and for daddy to mow the lawn. I caught the boys watching their daddy with longing in their eyes. I'll be sure to remind them of this moment one day when they don't want to mow the lawn...
Monster Jam
Back in January, we were in San Diego...and while walking in downtown, Josh and Wyatt encountered some monster trucks driving the streets preparing for a show. Wyatt was enthralled and so we promised him that the next time they came to Fresno, we would take him.
That day was last night. We got a sitter for Loyal and took the older two to the show. They had a blast! We saw Wyatt's favorite truck, Gravedigger, bend an axle and Reagan fell in love with the Scooby Doo truck (which had a female driver). While the drinks and prizes were pricey, we all had a blast! I think this might be a yearly adventure for the Keevers!

The weather station
Today we went with Rea's class to the Hanford Weather Service Center. It was really neat...we got to see all of the inner workings of a weather prediction center and got to tour the facility. The kids had a blast...but Loyal was definitely worn out!

Las Vegas on the way home
On the way home from Ohio we decided to stay the night in Las Vegas. I am so glad that we did. It was so much fun and gave us a second to breathe before making the six hour drive home. We explored the strip and had brunch with some old friends. We took the kids to see the dolphins and tigers at The Mirage (where we stayed). They loved it! Whoever says Vegas isn't for kids, seriously doesn't know what they're talking about! Hopefully we can get back there soon so that we have more time to soak in all of the fun.
