FRG Easter Party

Our FRG (Family Readiness Group) has done it again! They threw a fabulous Easter party for all of the squadron kids yesterday at a local farm. To say that my children had a blast would be an understatement!

They had baby chicks for the kids to hold. Rea wasn't sure at first, but eventually she warmed up to the idea.

Wyatt was all over it. He had no issues at all...farm boy at heart.

In fact, the chick was so comfortable with Wyatt, it kept falling asleep. I'm now referring to Wyatt as "the chick whisperer".

Rea adored the bunny. She kept saying "Oh my! Oh my!"

They also had two mules pull us around on a wagon for a while. It was fun but a bit chilly (which we weren't expecting)

During the wagon ride, the "chick whisperer" had to go potty. Thankfully we were out in the middle of nowhere, which made this next shot possible.

When the wagon ride was over, we were informed that the Easter bunny had stopped by and left some eggs around for the kids to find. Wyatt was so kind to his sister and helped her find a ton of eggs.

About three eggs in, Rea decided she needed a chocolate break. I don't blame her.

Ms. Tammy, our skipper's wife, helped Rea find a few more...

Rea then stopped to say hello to the chicks again...she's not the most focused egg hunter.

The wind was picking up, so we headed back to the car to check out the kids loot.

And that about does it for our Easter party...but I'll leave you with a pretty picture of our beautiful little girl.
