Christmas in Ohio

This past year we decided to go to Ohio for Christmas. We hadn't been with the Keever side for Christmas in over six years. It was time. To save a few bucks, we drove to Las Vegas and flew from there to Columbus. It was an exhausting travel day to say the least...I think it was 17 total hours. But once there, we had so much fun. We went to see the Buckeyes play basketball, did arts and crafts with Aunt Chrissy, played with cousins, watched the Buckeyes beat the Crimson Tide in the National Championship and so much more. I can't wait until the days when we live closer and can do these things all the time!

Reagan June turns FIVE

Just as shocking as Loyal's first birthday...my sweet Rea turned five. How is this girl about to start Kindergarten? She is so smart and so gifted. She loves to paint and draw and do anything that involves art. She told her daddy the other day that she wants to be an artist when she grows up! I love that she is our type B in a house full of type A. I hope she always goes against the flow and follows that spunky spirit that God gave her.

Loyal turns ONE

How is this even possible! My youngest is ONE. The night before his birthday, I was laying out and wrapping his little presents...and crying. Loyal is our last one. And he's growing up so so fast. He has been an absolute joy for the last year. We have enjoyed pretty much every moment we have been with him. I'm fairly certain that this little one will wind up being the family clown. He loves to laugh and play and he smiles with his whole body.

Sweet "monkey man", we love you so much and can't wait to see how you grow and see who you become! Thank you for making life with you so easy (I never thought I would say that about a baby).

Christmas Tree Lane

Every year we also go to Christmas Tree Lane in Fresno. This year, we decided that our drive through the beautiful lights would also be Loyal's first forward-facing ride. He loved it! He couldn't stop pointing and smiling! It totally wore him out!

Picking out ornaments

Every year on the day after Thanksgiving, we go shopping for ornaments. We let each of the kids pick out one ornament for that year. My goal is to do this every year until they get married. That way when they do marry, I can give them a whole set of ornaments that they have selected over the course of their lifetime. Here are the ornaments for 2014:
