My first pound cake
Josh got me a KitchenAid mixer for Christmas and I've been waiting until I found the perfect recipe to use it for. I finally found my recipe--Paula Deen's pound cake. I have never made a pound cake and I love Paula Deen, so I thought it was perfect. It took me a minute to figure out how to use the mixer, but once I did I decided that I LOVE IT! I now think that everyone (who likes to cook) should own one of these glorious tools. Anyway, here is the finished product...
More antics
Reagan got up first this morning, so I went and got her and brought her back to our room to feed her. While I was feeding her, Wyatt woke up and then at some point started crying. So Josh got up to go get him. A few seconds after Josh walked down the hall I hear, "Eden Keever! Come see this!". So I ran down the hall--Reagan still attached--and this is what I saw...

Wyatt will now be moving across the hall, into the guest room and will no longer have a dresser.

A girls' afternoon
Wyatt finally decided to take a nap, so Reagan and I got to hang out a little this afternoon. I took the opportunity to take a few pictures of my sweet girl and wanted to share them with everyone...she is just too gorgeous! (I do realize that I am biased...but I'm her mother, I can say that). I also wanted everyone to see the newest milestone she has achieved--pushing up!

Some more dancing
This is Wyatt dancing to the music that plays when you're on the main menu screen of his Veggie Tales DVD...he will clearly dance to anything.

Oh, the hair!
I have been trying to convince Josh that we should cut Wyatt's hair for quite some time now. Josh just loves Wyatt's crazy hair...probably because he had crazy hair as a kid too. Exhibit A:

So Wyatt's hair keeps getting longer and longer, and crazier and crazier. Maybe one day we'll cut it...for now, I guess it's just too funny!

Reagan's two month check up
Anyway, Miss Reagan was 11 pounds, 12 ounces and 22 inches long. She is growing right on track. I totally forgot to ask what percentile that put her in because I was dealing with an emotional one-year-old. Oh well.
Hard to believe that my sweet little girl is already two months old. It seems like just yesterday that she was born and we officially met her for the first time. Crazy how fast time flies when you're having fun!
